The role and adding skills of 10 common carbon blacks in reclaimed rubber (4)

Conductive rubber products are very common in life, which rubber is produced from conductive rubber products? This issue is not mentioned for the time being, but mentioning conductive rubber products has to mention conductive carbon black, acetylene black is the most common type of conductive carbon black, then it can be applied in reclaimed rubber, and what role? ? What carbon blacks will be used in the production of recycled rubber products? What should be considered when reclaiming rubber products choose a wide range of carbon blacks? 1JLYY1011?

9 acetylene black: typical conductive carbon black, with the basic performance characteristics of conductive carbon black, small particle size, between high wear-resistant carbon black and fast press black, high structure, large specific surface area, rough surface. Acetylene carbon black has high carbon content and low electrical resistivity, and is a commonly used raw material in the production of conductive rubber products and antistatic rubber products. When preparing the conductive rubber sheet with tire tread rubber and nitrile rubber as the main rubber raw materials, acetylene carbon black is indispensable, which can improve the conductive properties of the conductive rubber sheet and improve the physical and mechanical properties of the vulcanized rubber. The finished product has higher tensile stress and hardness.

10 Quickly press out carbon black: significantly improve the extrusion speed of reclaimed rubber, reduce the shrinkage rate of semi-finished products by reclaimed rubber, improve the dimensional stability and surface smoothness of semi-finished products, and is a carbon black commonly used to improve the performance of reclaimed rubber. The fast-pressing black particles are slightly thicker than the high-wearing carbon black particles, the structure is high, and the surface of the particles is smooth. It is easy to be mixed in the reclaimed rubber, and the vulcanized rubber has high tensile stress. In actual production, the reclaimed rubber products using the fast-pressing black are low in heat generation, good in thermal conductivity and excellent in high temperature resistance, but the tensile strength and hardness of the product are lower than those of hard carbon black.

As a reinforcing agent commonly used in the production of reclaimed rubber products, carbon black itself has an irreplaceable role. But this does not mean that the more carbon black used in the reclaimed rubber, the better. In actual production, rubber products manufacturers must first select the appropriate variety of carbon black according to the product demand, and then determine the blending ratio of carbon black according to the index of reclaimed rubber and the cost budget of rubber products, and coordinate the reclaimed rubber by adjusting the variety and dosage of carbon black. The relationship between the product index and the cost, if necessary, also needs to adjust the type and amount of the compounding agent in the vulcanization system and the softening system in the formulation.

Due to the high price of carbon black itself, when using recycled rubber to produce low-cost rubber products, Xiaobian recommends minimizing the amount of high-priced carbon black, and improving the process performance and mechanical strength of the reclaimed rubber by adjusting the types and amounts of other compounding agents in the formulation. Later, Xiaobian will share with you the application skills of carbon black in the production of recycled rubber products.
