Latex reclaimed rubber is an ideal raw material to replace natural rubber to produce various rubber products, with low cost and stable performance. When using latex reclaimed rubber alone or latex reclaimed rubber/natural rubber together to produce rubber inner tubes (especially colored tires), the extrusion process directly affects the quality and yield of the finished product. So what are the issues that need to be paid attention to when the latex reclaimed rubber inner tube is extruded?
1. Strain the glue in advance
Rickshaw inner tubes are highly airtight, thin-walled extruded products, and have strict requirements on the quality of the rubber and compounding agents used. For example, sulfur needs to be screened by an 80-mesh screen before it can be used. In actual production, latex regenerated 2YLYY824 rubber or latex reclaimed rubber/natural rubber is used to produce inner tubes. The rubber used in the production of inner tubes must be filtered in a rubber filter. The general filter screen specifications are 44 mesh two layers, 20 mesh one layer, and 10 mesh one. Layer.
It is recommended to control the temperature of the machine head at 95-105°C during the rubber filtering process, the temperature of the machine body at 45-55°C, and the temperature of the extruded compound not higher than 130°C. It should be noted that after filtering the rubber, the rubber should be parked for more than 1 hour before adding sulfur on the open mill, and then cooled and parked for more than 4 hours for use.
2. Extrusion parameters
When using latex reclaimed rubber or latex reclaimed rubber/natural rubber to produce extruded inner tubes, usually the extruder head temperature is not higher than 85℃, the die temperature is not higher than 105℃, and the body temperature is controlled at 45 ℃, the conveyor belt speed during extrusion is generally controlled at 11.4-34m/min. Inner tube extrusion return rubber should not contain moisture and debris, and the mixing amount of return rubber should not exceed 20%.
3. Raw material selection
Latex reclaimed rubber has the basic performance characteristics of natural rubber. When replacing natural rubber to produce extruded inner tubes, it is recommended to choose reclaimed rubber that is close to the inner tube's various indicators (including tensile strength, elongation at break, hardness, etc.). When using reclaimed latex rubber to produce light-colored and colored tires, it is recommended to use white latex reclaimed rubber or colored latex reclaimed rubber of the corresponding color. For example, red latex reclaimed rubber can be used for red inner tubes.
Considering the extrusion process, selecting a filter type latex reclaimed rubber with a fineness of 80 mesh can better ensure the smooth extrusion of the inner tube.
At present, the inner tube products on the market are dominated by butyl inner tubes, but it is not uncommon to use natural rubber in the inner tubes of Rickshaw. Latex reclaimed rubber has good compatibility with natural rubber. Substituting an appropriate ratio of natural rubber to produce rubber inner tubes can not only reduce raw material costs, but also improve rubber processing properties, such as improving fluidity and reducing reversion of vulcanization; later editors have opportunities Discuss related issues with you again.
