When using recycled rubber to produce rubber model products, the following eight requirements are put forward for molds:
(1) The rubber products pressed by the mold should have the correct shape and size.
(2) It is required to have a certain finish, reasonable parting surface and accuracy, and it is easy to trim the rubber edge.
(3) Reliable positioning, easy to operate, loading, closing, opening and taking products, which is convenient for loading compounds, easy for product molding, easy to clean, and does not damage the surface of the mold.
(4) Maximize the service life of the mold.
(5) Under the condition of ensuring sufficient strength (not deformed due to pressurized vulcanization), the quality of the mold should be reduced as much as possible, and the material should be saved and the labor intensity should be reduced.
(6) On the premise of ensuring product quality, the mold should be easy to process as much as possible.
(7) There is an appropriate rubber retention groove for easy exhaust.
(8) When vulcanizing, the rubber should be subjected to sufficient pressure without a large amount of glue loss.
The materials used to make recycled rubber model molds need to have sufficient mechanical strength, impact and wear resistance, good machining performance, low heat treatment deformation, good thermal conductivity, sulfur compound corrosion E5LYY416 and other characteristics. When designing the mold cavity size, it is necessary to fully consider factors such as the shrinkage rate of the compound, the variety of filler, and the vulcanization temperature. In order to ensure the service life of the mold and the production efficiency and pass rate of recycled rubber model products, the following points need to be paid attention to when using the mold.
(1) The use of molds must ensure safety, the operation should be careful and reasonable, the mold loading and unloading should be correct, and the pressure given to the mold by the vulcanizing machine should be appropriate, not too large or too small.
(2) When closing the mold after each loading, attention should be paid to the alignment of the direction, and the guide pin and core should not be allowed to slide out of the guide pin hole and die hole to prevent crushing the mold.
(3) Before loading, the surface of the cavity should be evenly coated with release agent (such as neutral soap liquid, silicone oil, special release agent, etc.) to facilitate smooth mold removal and retrieval.
(4) The hardness of materials such as mold openers or pry bars must be lower than that of the prying edge of the mold (generally made of copper materials). The parting surface and cavity of the mold are strictly prohibited from any scratches and abrasions.
(5) The corner cleaning at the mold cavity needs special protection, and the corner should not be knocked down, and the cavity should not be polished with an abrasive cloth, especially the corner should not be polished with an abrasive cloth.
(6) If there are spots or rust spots on the surface of the cavity, it should not be polished with a steel mold file, abrasive cloth or scraper when cleaning, but can only be scraped off with copper tools or bamboo pieces, and then finely polished.
(7) After the mold is used, it must be cleaned and coated with protective oil for preservation.
