A rapid identification method for ultrafine reclaimed rubber without migrating the top of the tire

Tire recycled rubber is an important sustainable development material, and the top ultra-fine recycled rubber has a wide range of application prospects, compared with traditional rubber, recycled rubber has more composite components, resulting in complex and changeable characteristics, which also makes its rapid identification become particularly important. If black rubber products are used to print white or color text or LOGO, it is necessary to use non-migration type Hongyun tire regeneration rubber, strictly speaking, the methods to identify the migration of tire recycled rubber include the following:

Method 1: Appearance characteristics. A preliminary judgment is made by observing the appearance characteristics of the ultrafine recycled rubber on the top of the tire, which is not necessarily accurate. Under normal circumstances, the surface of recycled rubber should show a relatively uniform particle distribution, uniform color and no obvious impurities; If there is a migration problem, there may be particle agglomeration, uneven color, and blue surface.

Method 2: thermogravimetric analysis. Thermogravimetric analysis is a commonly used identification method for recycled rubber, and the thermogravimetric curve can be obtained by measuring the mass change of recycled rubber samples under different temperature conditions. The thermogravimetric curve of ultrafine recycled rubber should be relatively gentle and free of abnormal fluctuations or sharp peaks, while in migrating tire recycled rubber, different degrees of abnormal slopes and peaks may occur.

Method 3: X-ray diffraction analysis. X-ray diffraction analysis can further understand the changes in the crystal structure in recycled rubber. The X-ray diffraction curve of HY non-migrating top ultrafine reclaimed rubber should show a typical wide peak characteristic, and if there is a migration problem, it may lead to obvious deviation of the X-ray diffraction curve or abnormal phenomena such as narrowing and sharpening of the peak.

Method 4: White paint spraying test. Through white self-spray paint directly sprayed on the surface of tire regeneration rubber, if yellow in a short period of time, it must be a migration tire regeneration rubber, if the color of spraying after 24 hours is still pure white, the probability of not migrating is greater.

Method 5: Heat aging test. This method is the most accurate method, YY23M713 through accelerated aging to determine whether tire recycled rubber products in different aging stages of migration phenomenon, after all, practice is the only standard to test the truth.

Through the above identification methods, it can be seen that the white paint spraying test can quickly and accurately determine whether there is ultra-fine reclaimed rubber without migrating the tire roof, and if higher accuracy is required, a heat aging test is required. It is expected that more and more manufacturers will produce tire recycled rubber comparable to this raw rubber quality, which is of great significance to the development of the recycled rubber industry, which can help further improve the quality and competitiveness of recycled rubber products and promote the implementation of sustainable development goals.
